BDL 3" Belt Drive Kits

BDL 'Bolt-In' Belt Drive Kits>
Engineered to handle the most brutal torque and horsepower demands. Requires no primary case modifications to install. Features a cylindrical shaped, replaceable clutch dog capable of withstanding 1200 foot pounds of torque. BDL's steel hub design moves the clutch basket inward, eliminating unnecessary weight hanging from the mainshaft. Barnett Kevlar clutch provides at least 70% greater clutch surface than stock for maximum hook-up. Complete kit includes front and rear pulleys, clutch, sealed primary bearing, and an extra belt.

BDL 3" Belt Drive Kits with Billet Motor Plates
Beefy billet motor plate locks the tranny and engine together. Kits include 3" belt, polished one-piece billet aluminum motor plate, double-row sealed mainshaft bearing, polished aluminum side plate, and complete 'Competitor Clutch' with Kevlar plates. Includes polished pulley covers.

BDL 3" Belt Drive Kits with Motor Plate for Electric Start Big Twins
Cast aluminum motor plate locks the tranny engine together and includes a starter housing that lines up perfectly with the ring gear. Kits include front and rear pulley, belt, motor plate, and BDL clutch with polished pressure plate and Barnett Kevlar clutch plates.

Note 3: FX models will require removal of the OEM oil tank bracket to allow proper starter fitment.

11mm Primary Belt Drive Kits
Bull strong 11/2" -wide, 11mm pitch belt kits include an extra belt with every kit. For precision belt adjustment, kits for aluminum primary Big Twins include the exclusive BDL idler that makes sure belt tension is correct (tin primary models use tranny adjustment for correct belt tension) All kits use 31 tooth engine pulley and 47 tooth clutch pulley

The 8mm belt pitch has been used for years on primary drives and the 1 1/2-wide kit is considered by many to provide the best all around combination for dependable operation. Kits include front pulley, rear clutch hub/pulley and an extra replacement belt. Designed for use with existing clutch hub and clutch.

BDL 3" Primary Drive Kits
Eliminate gyroscopic imbalance and belt whipping found in many 3" drives with a BDL drive kit that put the inner hub a full inch further inboard than most other belt drives. With the rear pulley further over the main shaft virtually all instability in the primary drive is eliminated. Kits have the same features as the 1 3/4" drive kits including the Stressproof steel clutch hub, Barnett clutch and polished aluminum pressure plate. Safety guards are always recommended with 3" drive systems

Large diameter 8mm 1 3/4-wide pulleys are hard anodized and use a special belt that traps less air than HTD belts. The rear pulley includes a 40mm double row bearing that supports a Stressproof steel clutch hub with a 2 half-plate. 4 full-plate, 5 drive plate Barnett Kevlar clutch that provides at least 70% more clutch surface than stock. The precision aluminum pressure plate uses six springs and shoulder bolts to ensure even pressure and smooth engagement. All kits include an extra belt!
