Barnett Series K
Dupont Kevlar Clutch Kits for Big Twin Models In friction products such as these clutch
kits, Kevlar pulp passes its real world tests. Here, properties such as strength, thermal
stability, improved wear resistance and non-abrasiveness make Kevlar an effective asbestos
replacement. Series K Kevlar clutches are available for most popular Big Twin models.
Stock Replacement Clutch Kit for Big Twin Models from 1990
to Present
Kit consists of 8 friction plates and was designed as a stock replacement clutch set.
Compatible with either Barnett or stock Original Equipment steel drive plates.
'Extra-Plate' Clutch Kit for Big Twin Models from 1990 to
Present
Kit consists of 9 friction plates and 8 steel drive plates. Installs like a stock clutch
and adds 12% more surface area to the clutch pack,
Stock Replacement Clutch Kit for Big Twin Models from Late
1984 thru 1989
Kit consists of 6 friction plates. The plates are wider than stock and provide 25% more
surface area contact. These plates are compatible with either Barnett or stock Original
Equipment steel drive plates.
5-Plate Wet/Dry Clutch Kits for Big Twin Models from
1941-early 1984
Friction plate kits consist of 5 plates with Kevlar friction material on aluminum
carriers. Best results are obtained when running these clutch sets as dry as possible.
1941 thru 1967 models require the purchase of an extra steel drive plate (CCI #14-903).
'Extra-Plate' Wet/Dry Clutch Kit for Big Twin Models from
1941-early 1984
Kit consists of 6 friction plates, one steel drive plate and a set of 10 heavy-duty clutch
springs. This clutch kit can be run wet or dry and adds 20% more surface area, 1941 thru
1967 models require the purchase of an extra' steel plate (CCI #14-903).
Barnett Series KDupont Kevlar Clutch Kits for Sportster® and K-Models
In friction products such as these clutch kits, Kevlar pulp passes its real world
tests.Here, properties such as strength, thermal stability, improved wear resistance and

'Heavy-Duty' Clutch Kit for Sportster® Models from
1971-early 1984
Friction plate kit intended for stock or modified engines. Consists of 8 friction plates.
Also included are 6 spacers. These friction plates are wider than any Original Equipment
or replacement plates available, providing extra clutch surface for maximum performance.
Recommended to be run 'wet' only.
Stock Replacement Clutch Kit for Sportster® and K-Models
from 1954 thru 1970
Kit consists of 7 friction plates. These clutches may be run wet, but best results are
obtained when run dry.
'Extra-Plate' Clutch Kit for Sportster® and K-Models from
1954 thru 1970
Kit consists of 8 friction plates, 1 steel drive plate and a set of 6 heavy-duty clutch
springs. Installs like a stock clutch with nothing else needed and adds approximately 14%
more surface area to the clutch pack.
Barnett Dryflex Dry Clutch Kits
Made of space age carbon graphite Dryflex material that has excellent heat and
oil tolerance with good hook-up that is resistant to fade and slipping. Dryflex
friction plates are ideal for open primaries or any time a dry clutch is preferred.

For second generation diaphragm clutch on Big Twin models 1990 to present, and Sportster®
models 1991 to present. Use with Barnett clutch plates or as a stock replacement (6
required).

1941 thru 1967 models require 3 plates, 1968-early1984 models require 4 plates.
Sintered Friction Plates for Big Twin Models 1941 thru 1981
Recommended for racing applications, sintered iron plated are resistant to wear and
high-temperatures. Designed to be run as a dry 'slipper' clutch, but can be cleaned and
re-used if they become contaminated.
